Foodiee (foodiee.live) is a free recipe app for
air-fryer and steamer cooking. This page explains what data we collect, how we use
it, and the third-party services involved. We keep data collection to a minimum.
What we collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4): when you visit, Google Analytics
records anonymous usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (city/country),
device and browser type, and how you arrived. This uses cookies. We use it only to
understand which recipes are popular and how the site is used.
Your favourites & shopping list: stored only in your
own browser (local storage). This never leaves your device and is not sent
to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it.
No accounts: Foodiee does not currently ask you to sign up, and we
do not collect your name, email, or phone number.
Affiliate links (Amazon)
Some links to kitchen appliances are Amazon Associate links. As an
Amazon Associate, Foodiee earns from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
Clicking these links may set cookies controlled by Amazon under
Amazon's privacy policy.
Swiggy Instamart ordering (coming soon)
We are building an optional feature to let you order recipe ingredients from Swiggy
Instamart. When it launches:
You will connect your own Swiggy account through Swiggy's own
secure login (OAuth). Foodiee never sees your Swiggy password or OTP.
We store only the access token for your session (encrypted), your chosen delivery
address, and your shopping list — purely to build your cart.
You can disconnect at any time, which deletes your stored token. No order is ever
placed without your explicit confirmation.
We use Google Analytics cookies (above). You can block or delete cookies in your
browser settings, or install Google's
opt-out add-on.
Foodiee works fine without analytics cookies.
Since favourites and lists live only in your browser, you control them directly. For
any privacy question, or to request deletion of data once Swiggy ordering is live,
email shiva@foodiee.live.
We may update this policy as the app evolves; the "last updated" date above will
reflect changes.
